Happy Easter!!!

Yet another video

I love when Sophie wakes up. She has that sleepy eyed look still and she is just so happy (most of the time). So I decided to video it so that my family could see it as well. Here is the sleeping beauty. She does start getting a little fussy because she was hungry!

Sophie has been trying her darnedest to sit up. She'll strain and strain trying to get up. It's cute, but I'm also slightly concerned she's going to give herself hemorrhoids :0). Since she loves sitting up so much I couldn't wait to try her in her exersaucer. I've put her in it before, but she wasn't too interested. I had a feeling that she would love it this time, and she did! She is so playful now and I enjoy watching her so much!

Sexy Thang...

A morning this week my Aunt Darlene graciously watched Sophie while I went to my mom's to shower, do my hair, and get dressed in peace and quiet. I never knew what a luxury this was until I had Sophie. I am extremely lucky because Sophie is a very content baby and is happy to just sit in her swing and look out the window. Anywoo...this is what I found when I came back to my Aunt's house...






I loved it! This was one of my cousin's bathing suits and my Aunt decided to try it on Sophie.

We've had a great time in KY! However, it always seems to be an adventure to get here! Our flight up here was delayed for THREE hours putting us getting to KY around 12:30am. No fun with a baby! My amazing husband sat with us the entire time. Sophie feel asleep at her normally time which gave Joe some time together which was nice! Poor thing...we laid her in a seat when she did go to sleep.

I FINALLY captured Sophie giggling! When ever she sees the camera come out she becomes mesmerized by it and will stop doing whatever it is she was doing. I hid the camera so she wouldn't see it. Once again...I'm embarrassed by my commentary.

The first two pictures are showing off her pretty dress. My father-in-laws sister got this dress for us. It is honestly one of the prettiest dresses I've seen. It is such an unusual color. I took these pictures to send to her. The last picture is showing the contraption that Aunt Arhmin and I made for Sophie. The doctor suggested keeping her elevated at night to help her breathing. She was waking up every 10-20 mins because she couldn't breathe...not fun for any of us!! Anyways...Arhmin and I came up with the idea to put her bouncy in her crib. Well, I was afraid that she would some how sling herself out of it so I decided to put pillows all around the bouncy in case she did. Let me just say that she has been sleeping GREAT since we've kept her elevated!
