Correction - at 4 in the morning :)

We have a correction on Baby Q's name :)! BTW - I didn't get up at 4am just because of this! I've been up since around 2:30 and can't seem to get myself back to sleep so I thought I would get up for a bit! Back to the name - there seemed to be a lot of confusion going on about "Elle". People didn't know rather to pronounce her name as EllIE or L. With a last name like ours you really don't want to make the first name confusing as well! Plus, my mother informed me that Elle Faye sounded like pig latin. And it does :). Another BTW - my grandmother spells her name Faye. Not really sure where I got Fae from! I was thought for sure that I saw somewhere that it was spelled Fae. I even argued it with my grandfather, but obviously that didn't get me very far :). Anywho - so Joe and I decided that we would officially name her ELLIE FAYE. That way she can choose to be called Elle when she is older if she wishes!

I think Sophie is beginning to grasp some what that I have a baby in my belly! A couple of times I have mentioned the baby and she'll go get her fav bear and come lay it on my belly and say, "baby"! Then the other day we were looking at pictures of one of my dearest friend's precious new daughter, Annabelle. Sophie was going crazy over her then turned to me and said, "Momma baby" while patting my stomach. She is going to make a great big sister!!

I realized that I haven't been really doing what I said about "Talking Tuesdays" where I document Sophie's new sayings! It's gotten a bit hard because she says SO MUCH!!! It's unreal how much this child talks. She seriously talks 90 miles per minute! Especially in the mornings! I know many wonder, "where does she get that from???", HA!
We're still having to deal with tantrums. It's not very fun! But I'm being consistent and PRAYING it pays off. I hear it does so I'm standing on that, ha! She's the sweetest thing ever though! She's so loving and affectionate! Sophie has 7 teeth coming in and at least 3 of those are molars. I'm holding my breath to see if part of her tantrums have to do with irritability from her teeth. We'll see!

Ok, maybe I should try to sleep now! Wish me luck! This pregnancy insomnia is a killer!!! Please overlook any/all errors that this post is probably loaded with :)!

I'll leave you with some recent pictures of Sophie!
This child has to bring her animals/dolls EVERYWHERE we go!! She'll switch it up which ones she takes to be fair of course :)
LOVE her chubby, baby legs in this picture!

Fall you say

Well, here in the great sunshine state we don't really have seasons. Sure I thought that we did until I went to God's country for college! There is no more beautiful of a place than Tennessee and Kentucky during Fall!! In fact, being there spoiled me and put a longing in my heart to go back when ever this time of year rolls around! I miss the crisp air, football games (college AND highschool), golden leaves, and the smell Fall in the air! I miss opening up the windows and having the fresh breeze blowing in! Which is why I am more than excited that we have an unexpected break and get to go to Kentucky AS A FAMILY!!! YAY! Any vacation time that Joe had went to finishing up his MBA so we were never able to get away unless for quick weekend trips. I am so excited that we get to relax, unwind, and clear our heads for a bit! I'm also looking forward to cooler weather! We leave tomorrow night so I'm sure I'll be posting pictures soon!
